Zirax plc ("Zirax" or the "Company"), the AIM quoted speciality chemical company focused on the development, production and sale of oilfield process chemicals and de-icing solutions is pleased to announce that it has won the contract to supply 15,000 Metric Tonnes ('MT') of calcium chloride based de-icers to Moscow City Council for its 2008/09 winter season.

The Company was notified today that, on 28 May 2008, Pennygold Trading Supplies ('Pennygold') acquired 1,900,000 ordinary shares of 1p each (the 'Ordinary Shares') in the Company.

At Zirax's Annual General Meeting, held today, shareholders approved all the resolutions put to the meeting.
